Excerpt: One hundred Cape Cod women who opened their homes to Silent Spring Institute researchers two years ago to test for the presence of toxic chemicals will learn today the kinds and levels of chemicals that were found. The information comes two years after the institute’s Household Exposure Study, which collected air, dust and urine samples in an equal number of homes of women who had been diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their life, and those who had not.
